ACT4 ISRAEL NOW BLOG

To help illustrate the complexity the situation is for Jews living in a world filled with growing antisemitic violence, permit me to offer the following: IRANIAN JEWISH-COMMUNITY LEADERS VISITED THE IRANIAN GENERAL SOLEIMANI’S HOME TO PAY CONDOLENCES TO HIS FAMILY FOR HIS KILLING BY AN AIRSTRIKE CARRIED OUT BY U.S. FORCES. This statement is a composite of various headlines now being used in both pro-Israel and anti-Israel media outlets around the world.

These Jewish leaders who represented a coalition of religious minorities in Iran condemned the attack in what seems like an attempt to distance themselves from the attack, probably assuming that Iran would blame Israel, and therefore all Jews everywhere, for being involved in some way. It is commonly known that Israel has the best Intelligence Network in the Middle East and often cooperates with United States Intelligence by providing real-time information on what is happening at ground level, even in Iran.

Rani Amrani of Israel’s RadioRan, which broadcasts in Farsi, explained that it was "very important to minorities [in Iran], especially the Jews, to condemn Soleimani’s death.
"They’re afraid of anti-Semitism and being targeted. Often, during the protests [against] Jerusalem Day, the Jews go out and take part in fear of being attacked. In their hearts, they love Israel. They are in a situation in which they have to prove they have no links to Zionism," Amrani explained (as reported by ISRAEL HAYOM).

Recent history has proven that if you are an Iranian living in Iran, and are not supportive of the ruling regime, your life is at risk. And sadly, the same has now become true for Iraqis living in Iraq who do not support the regime in Iran.

This situation answers the question of why Israel MUST exist. Not only because of the Biblical Promises made to the Jewish people but also because of the personal security situations Jews face around the word. This is one of the reasons over half of the world’s Jewish population has returned to the Promised Land. In Israel, for the most part, Jews live in safety.
